8 Hour Zoom Holy Moly!

Yesterday, April 10th I released my first single, Hopeful Romantic. The feeling that comes with seeing your music in Spotify and iTunes is a new one for me and one I hope to continue. How special to have music out in the world and premiered on Vents Magazine

I hosted an 8-hour formal virtual party to celebrate my music release, while I am exhausted from hosting for 8 hours, it was a success I'd say. Many of my dear friends and family were able to join, ask questions about the song, meet some of my music colleagues and enjoy a group listen! I ended the party with an acoustic performance of the song and said goodbye to the group hanging late night on zoom. The 8 hour time span involved many different people from all the places I've lived, my roommates and I performing various jazz standards, general shenanigans and even a short dance party. I was able to share a preview of my next song which is still in production and talk about my goals as a songwriter.

Here's a photo of my colleague and roommate Evan from the Zoom formal!
